Arrive in Helsinki then fly to Longyearbyen where you’ll board Ultramarine. Exploring western Spitsbergen, this expedition offers opportunities to discover immense glaciers, deep fjords, soaring mountains and abundant Arctic wildlife. Sail into Krossfjorden, where the active Lilliehöök Glacier dominates the landscape and enjoy a Zodiac excursion to nearby Ny-London, an abandoned mining settlement. Cruise to the magnificent Monaco Glacier and Magdalenefjorden, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and dramatic scenery. Throughout your voyage, keep watch for iconic Arctic wildlife including polar bears, walrus, reindeer and seabirds. Your adventure concludes in Longyearbyen before your return charter flight to Helsinki.
