Where we've been

As travel agents we are lucky to be able to travel around the world quite regularly. All this travel means that we can offer you invaluable advice and information, that you just can't get from an online booking site. Below, we have detailed some of the fantastic trips we have taken in a hope to inspire and advise. If there is a destination or trip that you are interested in, and would like to find out more, please get in touch - another highlight of being a travel agent is that we can talk about travel, all day!

Emily

2 night Sydney to Brisbane cruise with P&O on board Pacific Aria
What did you love?
Food, drink , ice cream , entertainment , bingo , the pool... kids club...

And not so much?
We couldn't get a seat at the specialty restaurant as the cruise was too short.

Ideal for?
Getting a taste for cruising, as it's great for all ages - we had four generations on this cruise.

Travel tips?
Book during cruise sale weeks and receive extra benefits. First thing to do when you embark is book your specialty dining!
Fiji - January 2016
What did you love?
At the Hide Away Coral Coast - The cocktails, pure relaxation by the pool, great spa, lovely food, Sugar Train and Sigatoka day out: option for meal plans and drinks packages
At Radisson Blu Denarau - Friendly resort, always activities happening, swim-up pool bar, poolside menu service which is great for families and couples.

And not so much?
The insects and geckos!

Tips for the destination?
Take Aerogard!

Jessica

Cambodia with Insider Journeys - September 2016
What did you love?
Learning about the history and what the Cambodian people have overcome in only a few years, and how passionate they are about their culture!

The food - I have not tasted a Amok that I didn’t like! Each restaurant has their own way of making it with either fish or chicken.

And not so much?
Need to get back to you on that... I can’t think of a thing at the moment.

Tip for the destination?
When going to the Temples and Museums, please remember to cover your shoulders and knees as a sign of respect. You actually won’t be allowed in if you're not dressed appropriately. Also you must go to Angkor Wat for the Sunrise - the 4am wake-up call is worth it!

The Ghan with Great Southern Rail & AAT Kings - November 2016
What did you love?
The food and drinks, the staff (always had a smile), and the scenery was first class.

And not so much?
The size of the cabin - trust me go for the Platinum service. There is more room so you should get a good night sleep!

Tip for the destination?
Drink plenty of water! Definitely need it with the hot and humid weather.

Michelle

Mekong River Cruise with Scenic - April 2016
What did you love?
The cabins are very generous in size. The crew were so friendly - always smiling.

And not so much?
I didn’t like the floating fish farms - interesting, but wont be lured back.

Tip for the destination?
Make sure you drink bottled water only, check vaccination requirements with us before travelling.
Southern France River Cruise with Scenic - May 2016
What did you love?
The villages and towns visited are so beautiful, and made so accessible by the river cruises.

And not so much?
I am hard pressed to find a negative here! Keep in mind that you are on a river, so water levels can change quickly and therefore your itinerary can change - but I say “Just go with the flow”.

Tip for the destination?
Try the electric bikes - great fun way to get around some of the little villages.
Wellington with Singapore Airlines - September 2016
What did you love?
Singapore Airlines inaugural flight direct from Canberra to Wellington

And not so much?
Nothing bad to say - NOTHING! So excited to have direct flights and with such a wonderful airline.

Tip for the destination?
Wellington is a great little city. If you are a foodie then you will love this place. A visit to Te Papa and Weta are a must.
Tahiti - November 2016
What did you love?
Swimming with the sharks and sting rays.

And not so much?
Eating at the resorts can get a bit expensive.

Tip for the destination?
Try eating at one of the local cafes or restaurants. They offer great food and prices.
